how do you feel about the rise of homosexuality in Hip-Hop?
i’m all for it honestly. Hip-Hop has evolved in many ways over the years and always finds a new audience to showcase. it really broadens the variety of fans that finally have a voice for themselves. Kevin Abstract is probably one of the first to really express himself and just say whatever he wants. niggas are out here hating on him for saying “i just gave my nigga my head” as if Biggie never said “you look so good huh, i’ll suck on your daddy’s dick” back in ‘94. then people like Tyler the Creator admitting his liking for guys after having everyone think he’s homophobic. and it’s not just stuff like that. people like Young Thug and Lil Uzi, who even tho they aren’t gay, are expressing themselves with women’s clothing and inspiring people to embrace themselves and do the same. it’s 2017, we should be completely fine with things like this.
