I joined a GetFit challenge through #SNO at #SDSU 8 weeks ago. I was actually given a personalized workout plan- which I am sad and embarrassed I did not follow. However, the one specific thing I chose to work on were planks. I could barely do a 30 second plank. I made it to my goal of successfully completing a 1 minute plank. My shoulders and lower back have been sore every day, my core is not as sore as I feel it should be. I’m not sure if my form is bad or what’s going on- feel free to comment if you have tips for me ⬇️
I am extremely proud of myself- I never thought I would be able to keep myself up that long!
I think my next small goal would be to be able to do 1 complete, real burpee. With good form. I don’t know when I will attempt to start doing this- but it’s brewing in my mind #thatsthefirststep
