Keeping promises: While the dad has worship practice for almost half a day, I promised the kid playground time if she behaved herself when I brought her for work. She did, but the weather wasn't in our favour.
So we went in search for a quieter place in town for her.
Surprisingly, this place tucked away at Forum is clean and the kids there were mostly her age. No bigger kids to worry about stampeding the younger ones and since we came almost closing time, I had a nice chat with the boss to understand how she cleans the huge amount of sand 3-4 times a week! That's a lot of work, but it sure assures the parents about hygiene of the play area. (I wouldn't let her lie on the sand if this was outdoor beach). There's three different play corners, nothing much to boast, but definitely cosy enough for parents to sit in the cafe and keep an eye on the kids whichever corner they run to.
The definition of fun shouldn't come from the parents but if the kids can keep themselves entertain for at least two hours without having to worry about her safety, I think that's a nice place to be at. At least for me.
2 thumbs up for Sandy Dandy! I will be back if I need time to chill on weekends and clean sand for her to scoop and lie on. #supportlocalstartups #smallbutgood
