The “cool down stretch” is WAY too important to skip. Whether you work out or not, stretching tight muscles can reduce future injury and pain.
He’s a short one (sped up) from today’s workout.
Starting from a child’s pose, stretch your arms long out in front. Sit back on your heels.
Next, step one foot out in a runner’s lunge making sure your knee does not go further than your toe. Then shift weight back for a nice hamstring stretch. Repeat other side.
Stand up, clasp hands behind you, look up towards the ceiling followed by a big, cleansing breath.
