Last week I visited a charming little Italian restaurant, just off the high street in Poble Nou. @apriboccabcn has been open for just 4 months and the family from Basilicata are serving up some top quality #Italianfood
On the specials they had a #mozzarella bomb…Which I obviously couldn’t resist trying.
Served up as a big breaded ball of fried #cheesy goodness, on a bed of delicious salad. This starter was epic!
I could smell the incredible #Blu white pizza with #gorgonzola, honey and walnuts, before it arrived! A gorgeous looking pizza, which was perfectly balanced in flavour.
To follow, I had my very first #Saltimbocca, called the #Lo Spuntino…Imagine a delicious sandwich, where the bread is made from pizza base and the filling is #Provolone, sweet potato, and #truffle flavoured #Mortadella!!!! #truffleeryday
Caprese desert (not the salad, but a soft brownie like cake with coconut and orange flavours), topped with ice cream finished this mighty fine feast.
A must visit if you’re looking for an #Italian with #tasty regional dishes, amazing service and heaps of charm. Big thanks to Alessandra for looking after us as we worked our way through the menu 😘
