CAN YOU LET THAT MONEY GO (1)?
You know, we live in a society seemingly controlled by money. Money is the standard. I'm sure 6 months back, uncle Evans the kidnapper was eulogised at several functions. Highly respected! "You no no dat man? Those houses for magodo! Na him get am o. Respect am o"
Everybody wants to drive a fancy car, wear the shiniest blings. But my question is, Do you want to do that at the expense of your conscience?
Can you let money go because of personal principles. I'm not even saying crime now. I mean just because it doesn't go well with your personal standard. I bet your answer is NO. I say this, if you can't walk away from money for such "trivial" reasons, you are a potential kidnapper/armed robber/hired killer etc. The truth is that, cut back to 10 years ago, that armed robber never believed he will carry gun. It all started with his sights set on money!!! No standards!
If you can't let money go, then you have not mastered money, money has mastered you. Please I'm not trying to undermine or downplay the importance of money, I kuku charge for my services. But listen, would you rather work through the process and make your money with peace of mind, than you be the richest and your conscience pricks you for the rest of your life, knowing that you had to scam or you had to be a gigolo or you had to steal to build your "empire". This for me has been the major bane of our society. That's why you see incomplete government projects, bad roads, your mechanic messing you up because he has swallowed the money for parts, your police checkpoint being a tollgate, lawless danfo buses parking on the highway to pick passengers (to make more money), comedians stealing jokes so as to get more gigs (money), almost every thing wrong with our society has this as the foundation
Imagine we all do what we do because we love to do it, or because we want to render quality service. Like you go to work not because you want to get paid, but because you have customers waiting to clear cheques at the counter. Or you are selling not because you want to make exorbitant profits, but because you love it. I have a lot to say on this but let me just stop here. #SLKSpeaks
