We all have those moments where we stop ✋🏼and we think, I CAN'T carry on like this anymore, something HAS to change... and right there in that moment, a lightbulb goes off. We decide that THIS is it. This is the time we stop faffing around and really do something about our weight and the impact it has on our happiness and day to day lives.
My moment came the night that, that picture on the left was taken ⬅️ It was one of the worst nights out in the history of nights out, and I'll always remember it. I didn't want to go out in the first place, but it was my Girl's Birthday AND Halloween 👻 It was actually a fancy dress occasion, but all I could find was a black sack and a sad mask to fit me whilst all the girls were dressed amazingly! On the night out I was self conscious and hating every minute of it...I ended up bumping in to a very old friend who I thought a lot of; and he turned round to me and said "you've gotten fat, haven't you?" I had never been more shocked, and I felt sick to my stomach. I said goodbye to my friends, caught a cab, crying all the way home, and cried in to the night. The next morning I was on the laptop looking up my nearest Slimming World group.
