I usually weigh my liquids, it’s more accurate and allows me to add 200ml of stock or water to a recipe. Pop pan on scales, zero scales, add liquid, done. I do the same with wine. Add glass, zero, pour wine.
But it was pointed out last night in group that this may not be correct. Everyone remembers that some liquids are heavier than others (school chemistry, Mercury, for example). It’s unlikely that this would work against me because coconut milk is unlikely to be more dense than water, but I checked anyway. 600ml DOES weigh 600g.
