30 years ago around 11pm and I witnessed Rocky being born. Then a couple of years later broke him in. Almost 12mths later I sold him on as a naive teenager, thinking I could buy he back when I finished school and thinking it was in his best interests. He was sold on a few months later and I lost track of him. 2 times over the years, I came close to being reunited with Rocky but he'd been sold on just before I had the chance to see him again. It took 17 years to track him down to a riding school and to finally meet up with him (thanks to a horse forum member recognising his pic that I'd posted). Two years later, he was given to me with his aged little best mate Pixie.
I thought we might give them a good retirement for a year or two, if lucky and then have them pts with dignity, when it was their time. Well they proved me wrong (7yrs later)! Plenty of TLC and they're still with us today. Today Rocky and Pixie were given frozen diced carrots, peas and corn. One of their favourite treats and the other horses carrots. I really appreciate getting Rocky back and Pixie was a bonus
