Today is my 1st anniversary for my life changing operation that has helped me loose 55kilos. I didn't make it to my goal of 60 kilos but I'm happy with how far I've come. Left photo is me on the weekend and the right photo is me waking up in recovery looking rather dazed and confused. Thanks to all my family, work friends and new friends that I've made along this journey. Thanks for supporting me and encouraging me, it truly means a lot. And to my best friend and soulmate Lee, thanks for everything you've done, I wouldn't be where I am today without you.
I've been accused of taking the easy way out, if only people actually knew the struggles myself and others who have had this operation have gone thru. My wish is that people not be so judgmental of others and that we all support each other regardless of what they have done to get where they are. The only reason I've shared my journey with you all is to help others who were in the same situation as me see that they too can change things. I've managed to help others who were once like myself just by sharing this journey with you all.
Once again thanks for coming on this journey with me over the past 12 months. It's been a wonderful eye opening journey for me and I'm looking forward to hitting that goal, whenever that may be. Cheers to everyone who has helped me get here by offering me supportive words of encouragement ❤️ #1stanniversary #sleeveaversary #gastricsleeve #gastricsleever #gastricsurgery #gastricsleevelife #gastricsleevejourney #likeforlike #gastricsleevecommunity #weightloss #weightlossjourney #weightlosstransformation #gastricsleeveaustralia #lovinglife #feelingfantastic #almostatmygoal #5kilostogo #thanksforyoursupport #selfie #newlife
