The highline gathering on the chief this past weekend was a captivating event to say the least. Such a diverse bunch of people from all over the world, speaking many different languages, but all after the same highline high. There was a lot of love and support for eachother in the air and altho they were from all different walks of life, stepping into the void 600 meters over the north gully of the chief, they all shared very similiar vibes in their own ways.
I couldnt imagine the amount of time and focus it takes to send your first highline in such an extreme environment. But I can imagine the skill of honing your focus in such a way, to free your mind of all external and internal battles, to truely and fully center youself in the moment, would be a challenge that elevates you in many different ways. I especially liked the phrase "Agro Yoga". Like its a battle of spirit and meditation on the lines. I can certainly appreciate that concept.
Have you ever battled to focus with things that are important in your life? Maybe its your turn to learn how to walk the line.
