Hello, this post is mainly to people with #mcardlesdisease .I’ve just read some of your posts! I found some quite upsetting😪. This is a bit about me and my #mcardlesdisease .Hope it helps? I am 56 years old diagnosed 20 odd years ago. Luckily I was already doing heavy manual work by then, which I still do! (Last Friday 75x 18kg loads carried up a3 storey ladder, 6 hours!) this has always kept me fit and active!! Picture 1 last Saturday,55 mile bike ride, 4,900 ft of ascent.Pictures234+5,
#skyetrail ,over 14,500 ft of ascent, 75 miles, carrying 15kg pack, 6 days!in pic 5 is Meike,#meikeveur a human dynamo I bumped into, amongst other things a gym instructor in Brussels and I kept up with her😧wtf!! Pic6 is the #snowdonhorseshoe , done in 6 hours! Pic7 climbing in the #picosdeeuropa !
If I can do these things( and some 4000m peaks in the alps, etc etc)then so can some of you! I just never stop moving, let it hurt a bit, don’t get fat, hydrate, get a manual job( or go to the gym, not me ) don’t use lifts, big climb? eat sugary snack then burn it off!
And mainly be a pig headed stubborn B*****D!!😁
