555lbs for a single. Still easy, getting into rpe range soon, not much strength was lost in the absence of conventionalbut there has been a little. Heaviest I've gone on conventional in over a year, staying hopeful that the trend continues. Extra effort in not getting thrown out on my first day 🙃🙃 lol. But this gym is pretty cool. Kinda commerciall-ish feeling but also usapl equipment, not over packed and 24 hour access. Kinda confusing, but in a good way. Definitely on the list of the good things I couldve asked for in a vacation spot gym.

Meet Recap (Finally) from USAPL Southern Regional Championships.
405 Wilks (WOO 400), 64kg BW, 382kg/840lb total (33kg/73lb meet PR), and we went 5/9 🙃 (lots of reasons for this, but not any of that matters too much 🤷🏻‍♀️) I’m only 2 months into powerlifting, so I can’t complain too much. Instagram won’t let me post everything at once, so we will start with my squats!

Squats: 2/3, Best squat was 147.5kg/325lbs (17.5kg/38.5lb meet PR) missed my third squat (second squat video) because of depth (150kg/330lb) SO CLOSE 😭 BUT I opened with my previous closer (315lb/143kg) soooo holla 💁‍♀️ @usapowerlifting @usapowerlifting_tx @girlswhopowerlift @powerliftingnorthamerica @womenofpowerlifting @striveformorewomen

Always good to share the bad with the good.

Today has been a sucky day. Been working through a bit of knee pain / tenderness over the past few weeks and today it felt a little more tender than usual on my 1st warm up set of 5 with 60kg. Continued on where it started to feel better. Got to my working weight of 157.5kg (77.5% so not particularly taxing) and got to rep 3 of the 1st set of 5 (3 sets in total to do) and thought its not worth working through this today and stopped. Dropped the weight to 100kg (50%) and worked on some form things. Ended up with this set of 5 with a narrower grip and a slightly narrower stance than normal. They felt ok. Not sure if I'm just getting old and beating my body up too much or my technique is suddenly going out of the window, but i seem to have a new niggle every 2 weeks, whether it be knee, shoulder, elbow, back etc. Might be time to re-evaluate and lower the volume.
