I drink a lot of tea these days. After working at Starbucks and having more than my fair share of coffee (basically using it to survive) I no longer drink coffee. And now that I get a decent amount of sleep, I don't need it. I wake up and have a smoothie every morning and that gets me going plenty. It's my favorite 🙌 But after I eat lunch I always experience a slow down, my energy levels drop and it gets harder to focus which makes me stressed out and even more scatterbrained! So I decided to make up a tea to help me get back in the zone and finish my work for the day! I have a few more ingredients in mind that I want to add but I used what I had on hand and it's been such a big help 🙏 Here's what's in it- Rhodiola [an adaptogen that supports memory and concentration, promotes physical and mental endurance, protects against effects of ongoing stress], Ginseng [an adaptogen that helps the body adapt to stress and fatigue as well as the capacity to cope with mental and emotional stress, tones up deficient hormonal states], Skullcap [a nervine tonic that helps with anxiety, nourishes the nervous system, calms and relieves stress and soothes nervous tension], Green Tea [mostly for the little boost of caffeine], & Lavender [for the taste and calming effects]. I also want to add Ginkgo and Ashwagandha but I have to find some first! What do you think? What are you guys' favorite teas?
