Swipe and see the side by side of my lowest weight 3 years ago and today!--------->> So this first year of my journey, I lost 50inches off my measurements and 10lbs.
And I was struggling with the fact that I had only lost 10lbs in a year! I kept saying well I MUST still be just as fat, even though I literally lost a FOOT of my belly. 12 whole inches. I was stuck on the whole 10lbs thing.
Now I KNOW people tell you that the scale isn't a good way to tell if you are progressing. And I KNOW you don't 100% believe them. But hear me out:
I looked at the scale and believed that I was miles and miles away from my goal. But if I would have paid attention to my body and seen it for what it is, I would have seen that it's the same size as my lowest weight from three years ago.
YOU ARE SO MUCH MORE THAN THE NUMBER ON THE SCALE.
MUSCLE ABSOLUTELY WEIGHS MORE THAN FAT.
The 202 version of my is WAY healthier and stronger and just as skinny as the 179 version of me. You ARE doing this the right way! Keep pushing forward!
