Although deluxe-sized product is not as photogenic, it really is what I love to buy. I mean, it allows me to get a glimpse of that certain product without having to splurge! Well, this little pot of Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream has been with me for over a month now (and I’m not even half way through it!), so I guess it’s time for me to talk about it.
Let’s start on a positive note, I LOVE its soft and squishy texture to death! This cream is super light and fast absorbing; it feels like there’s nothing on my face, and that my skin is naturally supple lol. For me, it gives enough level of hydration and I feel like my makeup stays on better when I have this cream underneath, which is a huge plus. .
However, the problem I have with this product is that I don’t think the skin-brightening effect is that potent. Although this moisturiser contains ingredients such as 1% alpha-arbutin and papaya enzymes which is proven to be effective, it just didn’t work out as great as I wished. Because of this, I’d say that it still is a great moisturiser, but not something to go for if you are looking for an intense brightening/ dark spots-correcting product (Pixi glow tonic, Kiehl’s clearly corrective, etc. are way more effective imo!)
