2004 jigsaw made by a German company called kress. really unusual design back then with dust extraction through the body no adaptors needed just plug vacuum in the back . it has a top handle and locking trigger and its still going strong . it has variable speed and two setting blade stroke for medium and aggressive fast cutting . I broke the clear plastic from guard years ago which slipped up and down in the slot to keep all the dust in . it also was one of the first to have a easy non Allan key blade change now the new fangled quick blade change is now standard . Unfortunately kress went into liquidation before Christmas and its not surprising because they made such good quality tools they probably didn't sell as many as a result , Some of the other manufacturers are now building powertools for the diy/semi pro market and make them last just long enough for DIY use and not long enough for professional use . its strange how technology improving whilst product life is getting shorter ?
They offered a five year guarantee back when first launched into the uk market which was unheard off
