This is the face of someone who hated every single minute of this morning’s training!
Burpees were created by the same person who created celery... I hate them both! Unfortunately I will never be able to eradicate burpees from my life; they seem to be a staple of training. Thank god for small mercies in that I can choose to give celery a miss.

But I have to remind myself I am 40 (no spring chicken) and I have only been doing this for 3 weeks. The main thing is as long as I get the job done in the time frame given there is no need to worry. My energy levels are high eating a lot of Quinoa and Brown Rice with mixed Vegetables. My sleep patterns and workouts are good. I am probably going to increase the amount of sit ups I do without increasing the weight resistance. So lets see what happens. ▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫ ________________________________

Look I’m usually not the go to gal to book your hotel, there’s been a few times I’ve booked the ‘wrong’ place I mean who minds if it’s in the wrong suburb or dosnt supply linen or isn’t crown casino it’s in fact the knock off hotel across the river ‘crown plaza’ (that was an experience 🙃 ) but hey I’m all over those sale prices. There’s three & a half years between these photos (Oct ‘14 - March ‘18). In that time a whole lot of hard work went down, in the gym working on my physique & building my business to enough personal training clients & then online clients to fund chasing my dreams around the world on the @ifbb_pro_league stage.
Your dreams, no matter what they are, will always come at a price. My dreams have cost me a lot of time, most of which was spent beyond my comfort zone, chasing a vision that only I could see.
I’ve failed plenty of times. But every failure has taught me something valuable & without so many lessons I wouldn’t be where I am today.
My goal since day one was to be the best version of myself that I can be. When I conceptualize that it’s the reason WHY that’s most important.
As an athlete, a coach, & someone whose blessed with the ability to impact & inspire others, the WHY has always been to WALK the WALK & show you that you can achieve incredible things with the right mindset, the right support & the right work ethic.
I built this body from the ground up (as you can see) & whether I’m about to step on stage or not, that doesn’t change. I’m still working, still evolving & still pathing the way to my best self.
A lot of people ask me what I would look for in a coach & it’s funny you ask because I’ve spent time with 2 teams throughout my Pro Career & always reverted to coaching myself. I never in a million years thought I could coach myself to compete in the Super Bowl of our sport, @mrolympiallc, not once but twice & finishing 13th in the world (which I was disappointed with.. ha! #overachiever). I’ve coached myself to win @bevsgym New York Pro & placing in 3 Arnold’s.
My point? If I were to look for a coach I’d be looking for someone who walks the walk & can guide me in all aspects of my dreams & goals. Someone whose proven themselves in chasing their own dreams.
It’s about more than coaching —
It’s being a role model & sometimes a counselor. It’s believing in my clients before they believe in themselves. It’s when my clients dreams are as important to me, if not more important, than my own dreams.
