Well, if you came here looking for the easiest way to get abs, I hate to tell ya, but you're out of luck. .

While it may be genetically "easy" for some people to have flat stomachs and more defined abdominal muscles, for most of us- it can be a lot of hard work, but dont worry! You CAN get that flat, toned tummy you are after! All it takes is a little fine tuning and by fine tuning I mean your "diet".

Sure, I don't have the most "shredded core" - I have hips , short torso, and my genetics aren't made up to have amazing flat stomachs- no matter the million crunches, sit-ups, leg lifts, etc. and still, no matter how many abdominal exercises i do, if i don't have a 'cleaner' diet, those abdominal muscles will never come through. .

If you've ever heard the saying "abs are made in the kitchen", it's really true! To reveal muscle you have to decrease your body fat and the same goes for abs! You cannot spot reduce a certain area either. It has to come with overall weight-loss. .

I know it can be hard to start a new habit of eating less processed, sugary foods, but trust me; once you start you will see a difference! Try decreasing the amount of processed foods, fried foods, or sugary foods you eat a little at a time each week. Cut our sodas, candy, and cookies-- stock up on leaner proteins such as fish, chicken, and green veggies! Getting over that first week can be tough, but if you stick it out, I guarantee you'll see results including in those abs!

I will tell ya though- although exercise alone won't reveal the best results, it IS beneficial to train your abs like any other muscle group to "define" the muscles ! I personally LOVE cable crunches and leg lifts! Whatre some of your fave ab exercises?! Comment below 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

I did it. I signed up. I committed to the process. I did FTDI (mostly) and I finally met a challenge goal! I’ve lost 38lbs officially between two challenges and then joining the hard body squad! Earlier this year I had to go renew my ID. My picture was so bad it caught me off guard!! I was a happy in the picture on the left btw regardless of the the pic! 😋 At first I just thought it was one of those horrible DMV pictures. Either way I have made some major changes within the last two to three my months and I am making some progress! Yesss. I am sticking to whole foods plant based that is what works for me everyone is different!! I cut snacks at night and cut way back on dining out. I have been working out here and there too. Update post: Well, it’s been a little over 9 months since I had a laparoscopic total hysterectomy. While the surgery went well, and the pathology reports came back clean, the healing process brought some unexpected mobility issues. I’ve been battling lower back and left leg pain. I put myself through 11 weeks of physical therapy and when that didn’t solve it I turned to a chiropractor. I’m still looking for answers, but in the mean time I was given the opportunity to join a 6 week get healthy challenge. I joined the challenge, and ran with it. Despite the pain issues and all of the frustrations that come along with that I have persevered and am damn proud of how hard I’ve pushed myself. I’m down 5 pounds and a few inches all over. Bradley Project Management - BPM Ltd 6 week challenge results!
During the challenge, we focused on the 6 key pillars of health
1) Nutrition
2) Movement
3) Mindfulness
4) Sleep
5) Hydration
6) Community

Results - On average team bpm dropped 5kgs each.
- Team bpm averaged 89mins of exercise per day during the challenge
- On average bpm ran 6.7km a day (and Talei enjoyed every step along the way).
- 7.5hrs of sleep a day - Consumed an average 4.65 servings of fruit.
- Only 1 serving of indulgences on average.
