It’s okay to be unmotivated. To do nothing. Feel purposeless. It’s even better if you get to a place where you’re completely empty. It’s okay!!! If we’re patient with these times, it’s from here new beginnings are birthed and we acquire an even greater level of self-love and acceptance. But too often we panic when we have these feelings. We’ve been duped in to believing our self-worth can only be measured by the harrowing pace we keep or our accomplishments of the day. I’m sorry, but if that isn’t the dumbest shit ever. To race ahead to feel like we’re enough or fight tooth and nail to prove we’re worthy? Come on, now. You ALREADY ARE that. Naturally as humans, eventually, we find ourselves flat on our backs, unable to do ANYTHING. (If you’re lucky.) So please listen. Stop trying so hard. Slow your roll. Seriously alter your pace. Don’t miss yet another opportunity to let go of some of your expectations and self-imposed pressures and just be who you are today. Whatever that looks like. Even if yes, that means being slow and awkward and lost. You’re not actually lost. Just re-arriving back to yourself, the REAL you beyond your ideals and the image you work so hard to keep. Sit here for a bit and see what happens.
