These are legends, #LegendsNeverDie
When you think of Fred Jackson and Kyle Williams, you think of two football players that gave their all for the city of #Buffalo. These players are blue collar, worked their way up from the bottom, did everything the right way and of course fan favorites. These players bleed Buffalo. To us #Bills fans, it doesn't matter if they got a ring, lead the team to a super bowl, they are and will always be legendary. Fred Jackson is the ultimate under dog story. Played division 3 football at Coe college. Regarded as too small to be an #NFL RB at the time (197 lbs). Went un-drafted. Played indoor football for the #SiouxCity Bandits. Earned $200 a week. Went on to play in the European football league, #RheinFire. In 2006 it was then when GM Marv Levy invited Fred to training camp. Was sent to practice squad. Eventually earning his right to play for the Bills in his very first game in 2007 where he racked up 182 yards on the ground and 69 yards in the air. Over the course of time Fred was regarded as mostly a backup as the Bills drafted Marshawn Lynch and eventually CJ Spiller. While maintaining his strong work ethic Jackson kept pounding for an 8 year career on the Bills. Moments and highlights some will never forget. Kyle Williams. Another player regarded as not NFL caliber. "Too small, not enough bulk, not athletic enough". Drafted in the 5th round of the 2006 NFL draft. 5 pro bowls later it seems this will be Williams last season, as we all should not take it for granted.
My question to you, who will be that next Buffalo blue collar legendary player? Is he currently on the team and we don't know it?
