Happy thanksgiving guys! This was about 2 weeks ago sitting at 292lbs. Muscle growth is not linear, this post contest rebound for the first 4-6 weeks you will feel great and really pumped which means insulin sensitivity is very high and you’re very strong, then along the way it declines and bodyfat starts piling on 😳 so this is why I will be implementing short diet/cuts to lose a chunk of body-fat then repeat growth phase to try and keep body-fat in check this off-season. I will always have a big waist and that won’t change so this means I just have to grow everything else twice as big to give off the illusion of a smaller midsection! -
Another successful and happy client. This was a 14 week preparation for his first show coming up this weekend. He will dry out a little bit more and then once tan is applied it will showcase all the hard work 💪🏼
It's quite refreshing to discover that what you have always believed to be true might not be true afterall and there is a better workout for it.
For example I have always believed that the front military press works more the front deltoid best, but I am definitely wrong. A study by Brett Contreras has found out that the SEATED BEHIND THE NECK PRESS provides higher Maximum Voluntary Contraction (MVC - which is a measurement of how hard a muscle can contract isometrically) for the front deltoid. Give it a go but make sure don't go lower below the ears.
