Another Thursday, another skin care post. Did any of you try the oil cleansing!? After the oil cleansing and after my morning shower, I lather on the lotion. My lotion was one of the first things I swapped out for a natural/DIY kind. There is SO much unnecessary crap in store bought lotion and my skin clearly hated it. This lotion is the holy grail of lotions, I use it on my face, as a body lotion, and as a carrier cream with essential oils. I always make it plain and then add the oils I want at each application. Lavender is my go-to for my face 😍 super gentle and loving. There are tons of essential oils that are great for your skin but with sensitive skin lavender is the winner. 1 C. Shea Butter
1/2 C. Coconut oil
1/4 C. Almond oil

1. Start my combining the shea butter and coconut oil so we can't make them liquid. I put them in a metal mixing bowl of a pot of boiling water.
2. Once they are liquid I had the almond oil and stick it in the freezer until it is opaque.
3. When it hardens up a bit and looks opauque I take it out of the freezer and whip it up with a hand mixer.

That's it! So simple and it probably lasts me two-three months before I have to make another batch. Try it out and let me know what you think!

It is a form of brain training, that allows you to observe your thinking patterns and change the way you see things that are occurring. It allows you to accept things as they are right now in the present moment.

With patience, practice and understanding of compassion, you are consciously developing your emotional resilience through mindfulness.
Hectic schedules, commitments and routines can be a part of everyday life for some and each person copes with them differently. Over thinking can lead to confusion and an overactive mind, however by quitening the mind and listening to your heart, you can achieve a certain level of inner peace.
Your thoughts can trigger various emotions within you and your emotions can contribute to different mental health conditions.

Let us support you in changing your mind state (perception) and ultimately changing your life.
It's not what you see but the way you see it, it's not what you feel or go through but the way you respond to it.

There is no shame in saying you are feeling stressed out, feeling anxious or have had periods of depressive moods, day to day living can be hard and very challenging.
