I used to smoke. A lot.It seemed the most natural thing for me to do. Honestly, I didn't even cough the first time. Learned at a Catholic retreat I was sent to as a teen. Naughty Catholic school girls! "Just put it in your mouth and go, Ah/Ha ( gasp! ), my mother's coming!" Worked a treat.
I can't say I don't miss it. I mean, I really liked doing it if it weren't for the cancer, yellowing of teeth and fingers( I took to rolling my own) the awful smell ( seriously, in later years I'd always wash my hands with soap and water after enjoying one!) crappy complexion, breathing issues etc.and more.Then there was the kronic spliff habit it moved to. But I'm done being a slave to any smokeables.
I've kept my cigarette cases, a long holder, the shoulder -cuff armour I made based on rockabilly greasers rolling it their sleeve. I do really love the paraphernalia though particularly from an earlier age when it was acceptable. Somewhere I've got a great silver tall boot that's a refillable lighter. I don't like to say never because inevitably it appears. .often on that same bloody day but I'm glad to be off tobacco and weed. I did it all to excess for ages.For years, I'd have told you "Coffee and cigarettes; Breakfast of Champions!" I was also a coffee junkie ☕🍵barista and everything. All day drinker from the second I woke. The blue case with the fag has a coffee cup on the other side. I'll have a cup now and again but notice the health benefits of me not having it on the daily. I swear I had more cellulite when I drank it regularly and that was when I was doing loads of yoga. So no more breakfast of champions but a proper breakfast with fuel for the day. These days, I'm a tea convert. PG Tips with milk and honey.
