If anyone wondered how silk screen printing works.
Its essentially just stenciling.
The emultion on the screen is light sensitive, so once you put your positive on your screen, flash it, and wash it, your screen becomes the stencil, or negative.
You tape out all the excess, line it up on the press, ink it up and let 'er rip.
And just like house painting, if you're doing a light color over a dark color, you need 2 coats. The ink heat dries, so thats what the flash is for, it dries up the ink just enough to get your second layer.
And once all is said and done, you send it through a dryer running at 870 fahrenheit, and its fully cured and ready to wear.
Also before anyone says anything about the registration marks still being there, this is a test print, they get taped out before the actual garments.
