Revolved side angle pose is an amazing detoxifier for both the body (muscles and organs) and mind. It also builds stability and strength in the lower body while firming the upper body and core. Thanks for sharing @arigador_yoga#inflexibleyogis ・・・ • PARIVRTTA PARSVAKONASANA •
This is my go to variation for revolved extended side angle. If the heel down variation doesn't allow me to twist the spine in a twisting asana, then what's the point? Listen to your body 🙏🕉 . De todas las variaciones de Parivrtta Parsvakonasana esta es mi preferida.. La variación con el talón abajo no me permite torsionar la espalda por tanto qué sentido tiene? Siempre hay que escuchar al cuerpo 🙏🕉
I love this pose 😊 feeling that super long line of energy through the heel to the finger tips 🙌🏼 -
Extended Side Angle Pose — Utthita Parsvakonasana (oo-TEE-tah PARZH-vuh-ko-NAHS-uh-nuh) — is a standing yoga pose that utilizes all of the muscles in the body. Its name comes from four Sanskrit words: "Utthita" — meaning "extended" "Parsva" — meaning "side" or "flank" "Kona" — meaning “angle" "Asana" — meaning "pose"
