Feast your eyes on this πŸ‘€.... Day 1 πŸ‘†πŸ»of my #manpersonalbest 60 Day Challenge. (Last week Wednesday, day after returning from China) Starting weight of 210lbs. Maybe in the gym 2-3 times a week, zero cardio, eating anything I want.

I'm cleaning up the diet, training 5-6 days a week (still no cardio yet) and getting strict with my @mansports supplements specifically for dropping bodyfat and retaining muscle. I've also stopped chewing tobacco after years and years of it, to get healthier and no longer gross out @fallontaylor2 🀣

I've learned (finally) that trying to do everything at once doesn't work. Trying to workout to look like someone else doesn't work. But taking a methodical approach by planning ahead, staying consistent vs complacent, #trustingtheprocess, working to what MY body can handle, not being too hard on myself for getting off track but getting back on track quicker each time, having fun in the process DOES work! A big thank you to @jweymar of @elite_fitness_training ♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️

Phase 1: Realize I needed a change in my routine (I was complacent & I needed to allow my body to heal from multiple injuries) and START β˜‘οΈ <~~~just getting started was the tough part! And I've gotten my cholesterol down over 100 points within 6 months!

Phase 2: On the road to #ShredCity (in progress)

Kneeling Cable Crunches - I like this exercise as a burn out and it's a good way to finish your ab work out. After 3 sets of hanging leg raises with @transformchris, we focused on only using our core with this one. Then finished off our ab work out 3 sets of standing side bends with 45lb plate in one hand (really great oblique exercise). Best practices - Control your movement (faster isn't always better), pause and squeeze once you get to the bottom and always remember mind-muscle connection (focusing on that specific body part).

It all boils down to healthy protein, fat, and carb sources for me. Once you know your desired goal, you can start to manipulate your calorie intake and Macros and find what works best for you.

Some items I always have in stock are Eggs, Egg Whites, Chicken Breast, Fish, Rice, Rice Cakes, Sweet Potatoes, Ezekial Bread, Raw Oats, Natural Peanut Butter, Spinach, Nuts, and of course a large variety of flavors of @dymatize ISO-100 Protein Powder. Consistency is key. Abs are made in the kitchen, and so are bulking gainz! You are what you eat! Put in as much work in the kitchen as you do in the gym!
