Week 1 of summer shredding complete!
My main workout has been deadlifts and bench but because I’m cutting I’m going to incorporate some bodybuilding sets for the arms and shoulders to get some shredded Pythons dude! .... Well not exactly shredded by YouTube standards, especially in the 11 weeks remaining, but these blobs of pale mass are gonna get some shape to them. 🐍 “Butttt patrickkkk! You wanna be a powerlifter .. hows the strength training coming?” ... hit a bit of a rough patch with my deadlifts because I took about two weeks off to work on form. I am no longer grip and ripping it but taking the time to set up and get some slack out of the bar. It’s been only a week but I can tell that eating less is negatively impacting my strength levels already. But I’m not worried because I’m going to find a way around it and still lose fat and gain strength by playing around with how many calories I’m going to take in on lifting days vs off days to maximize strength during this cut.
Expect some PR’s ... especially on deadlifts 😏
