But, now it's time to get back to me.
I miss my #MeTime .
I miss my #BlackGirlsdoPiYo sista circle.
I miss my daily meditation on the mat, and that peace that comes over me when I do #PiYo 😌πŸ’ͺ🏽.

I truly enjoyed my run today. Every day, my energy levels are increasing, and I'm feeling stronger with every workout.
My goal is to ultimately run a 5K in the next couple of months, so doing this #Couch25K @c25kfree program is really helping me get back into training mode and improve my endurance. πŸ˜ŒπŸ’žπŸ’ͺ🏽

I'm feeling really good this week. I've been off of meat for 9 days now. And while it hasn't been long, already I'm feeling much better and it seems like my energy level is rising.
I've been thinking a lot about how I've been pushing hard on this health journey for almost two years. And while it's the hardest thing I've ever done in life (no joke), it's also the most rewarding journey too.
I wore this @ideologyactive tee today to remind me to keep pushing forward every day, and to ENJOY this self-love process, even as I challenge myself to stay as consistent as I can so that I can one day reach my health goals. πŸ˜ŒπŸ’žπŸ’ͺ🏽

And between not eating meat, and taking a couple of days off this weekend, I woke up this morning ready to kick major butt with my fitness today.
I did two walks around my neighborhood, then hopped on my bike for a nice intense ride at sundown.
It was invigorating and soooo needed. πŸ€—πŸ’žπŸš΄πŸ½β€β™€οΈ

Adding the weight lifting to my workout plan is really working, and I'm loving switching up my routine every few days.

In years past, if I fell off the wagon, I would STAY off (for years at a time πŸ™„πŸ˜’).
I would let the guilt of not taking care of myself be my 'excuse' for not getting up and back in the game.

Why waste time beating up on yourself for not working out, when you could just get up, set today as your Day 1, and get back on track?
If you've fallen off, stop the excuses.
Get up TODAY. Make time TODAY, and get back in the game. The sooner you do? The better you'll feel.

It truly feels amazing to be back on my fitness grind.
I had a few weeks where I slipped off the wagon, but getting back on reminds me of how awesome and powerful I feel when I'm exercising regularly and loving on my body in this way.
