Just a few days before the doors opened to the public at American Brew, I came alone early; shortly after day break. As I sat at the bar I tried my best to make myself realize what is about to happen in just a few days when the doors officially open. So many mixed emotions, and relocating from a small space to a much larger one gave me much more room to spread my wings and grow. To have a dream and a vision and to see that come to life, is an experience that you can't explain, so many ups and downs but ultimately the feeling of success. I think with that, as a young entrepreneur opening American Brew with no investors except myself 😂 but surrounding yourself with only hard work and the help of an incredibly talented team requires a lot of trust. You have to trust your vision, make the best business decisions you can but understanding many mistakes are going to occur and that's when true learning and growth happen. I encourage my entire team to think and dream where there are no limits, to do what they love and love what they do. I guess what I'm trying to say is this... sitting at the bar that morning, by myself answering emails was so incredibly calming looking around, feeling blessed and thankful. Everyday I walk through those doors it's surreal, there is so much love, so much hard work and a hell of a lot of passion. Thank you to the community who has supported me. My friends and family and most importantly; my team. Lead with your heart, always. And give more love in all that you do. @ashley.horner -
