Here's a pretty cool series of pics from 1966. This Camper Special F250 was a 1966 and my father had bought it brand new that year. The 11' Grizzly camper was bought new as well that year. And never again left the truck until I bought the truck from my dad in 1978. In the first pic the truck is being loaded, in front of my childhood home in Columbia Heights Minnesota. Subsequent pics are in Two Harbors Minnesota. And I suspect they were diving on the shipwreck the "Ely" which ran a ground on the breakwater and sank in Oct 1896. In the foreground in one pic is an uncle of mine. Clad in a wet suit. Go ahead and google wet suit vs dry suit. Then google Lake Suoerior water temps below thermocline lol. These guys were some tough sonofabitches💪🏻!
