Had a great an affordable dinner yesterday at a small dumpling shop near Kichijoji station. Their most popular item was a 5 giant vegetable gyoza which were so delicious. The filling felt meaty yet clean, bursting with juices and a nice sweet and savoury flavour. Simply delicious, and it was cooked in those really cool old school cast iron gyoza pans . They were very generous with the toppings for the ramen. The Shoyu ramen was delicious but the meat was cold, and the miso ramen with spicy green onions turned it into a weird Chinese/Korean tasting ramen which was a shame. Overall, dumplings 8/10, ramen 6/10.
