🌿 NOURISH 🍕
It is important to nourish your mind, soul, body and spirit by listening to your intuition and hearing what it tells you. What do you need, right now, in this moment?
There are A LOT of misconceptions out there about how to nourish ourselves and the media and diet culture would like to tell us that the only way to nourish ourselves is by going to the gym and eating low fat/carb free/sugar free food. And while healthy food is important, it's all about BALANCE 💫 Sometimes my body needs something light, and fresh, and whole like a green salad full of veggies but other times my body needs fat and carbs and decadence and comfort like pizza. You aren't any more or less of a person for choosing one over the other 😘
It is also important to nourish our minds, spirits and souls. For me the best way to do that is to take a walk in nature, journal, read, light some candles, take time to give myself a massage or to use some nice smelling products on my skin, paint, listen to music and spend time with those I love.
