All the while I was growing up, well into my teenage years when I didn't think it was quite as cool anymore, my grandma would call me a star. She gave me Christmas gifts of star shaped jewelry, clothing with stars on it, a paperweight with stars in it - any star paraphernalia you can imagine - and she always reminded me that I was a star. I think it originally came from my love of performing and being on a stage, but I knew what she meant when she said it: she believed in me to shine. .
I designed this card with the hope that it will be used to encourage others. Let's remind each other how bright we are when we excel in something we're great at, when we take a bold step forward, when we are a light in the darkness.
Tag someone in the comments below that you see shining, or find this card through my profile to encourage someone this week!
