Hey hey it’s Friday! -
And last but not least a 3 day weekend (4 day for meee since I don’t have class on Fridays😏) -
It’s funny how a year ago, I would’ve been scared for the 3 day weekend, and I feel like some of you would agree. We all struggle with parties and going out, especially since everybody is eating stuff we usually would not eat. -
My advice?
🍔Spend time with your family or friends and not worry about your meals
🍔But if that bullet point is not for you aka not there yet, make sure you have a balanced meal! Fill up on those greens, make sure you have some protein in, and that’ll be super helpful in keeping you in check!
🍔Drink water!!! If I ever feel like I ate a little too much, water helps me balance out the amount of food in my body. -
These are just my two cents! And since I’ve finally gotten over the hump for school I’ll be posting and hyping y’all up more🤗❤️

Band-resisted kettlebell swings are always a staple in my training program. I love them for speed / power development, explosive hip extension and of course, to build that posterior chain🍑🤘🏻

Golf: a sport that looks deceptively easy but is pretty complicated.


Anyways look who finally showed up to give golfing a chance. 🙈🏌🏻‍♀️. There’s always a first time for everything, right?


Throughout your entire life you can learn several new things. It’s only up to you to decide if you are willing to be a beginner. Being a beginner is cool. There’s really nothing to be ashamed of....we all start somewhere. Yet, we get ashamed of everything we do because nothing seems to be going right when we first start out.


So here’s to being a newbie at this sport. I’m going to choose to love this new mini journey. There will be bad days and there will be good days. Mistakes will be part of the game. You learn. You improve. May the course be with me! 😂. Anyways, I guess I’m ready to test my strength of mind and patience on another level. Swing straight and let the ball fly high. Let’s gooooo!

One of my favorite things to do is figure out healthy alternatives to food! I love cookies so I dedicate to make my healthier alternative plus it’s easy and cheaper 😊 this mindful eating group has helped me have a better relationship with food and not think of it as the enemy. Who wants to live their life counting calories? Not me 🙋🏽‍♀️

Couldn’t be more happy to be out of school for the summer ☀️
The past school year has been crazy, and has it’s wild ups and downs. I had some hard days, but I’ve grown so much. I’m a different, better person than I was at the start of this year. I’m a happier person. I’m closer to being the person I want to be 💕
Plans for summer include working 4-5 days a week and lifting 4-5 times a week, chillin, tanning, spending time with my buds, and loving on Clyde 🐶
When do you get out of school?? ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Woke up 30 minutes early, made a bomb breakfast 🥞 40+ grams of protein, and delicious 😜

Mum told me to flex so 🤷🏼‍♀️

Happy to say I’m finally starting to not revolve my whole life around health/fitness, although it is a hugeee part and I’m genuinely passionate about it, it’s not all I think about 24-7. I don’t want it to dictate how I live my life and it’s not something to obsess over or beat myself up about if every workout isn’t perfect! Fitness should be something you look forward to and want to do, not have to do 🤗

Videos sped up per usual to save time, but wanted to share some of my favorite exercises that target different parts of your back!
1️⃣ Bent over row variation: I loveee this one because for some reason when I use a regular bar it always hurts my lower back, this way just my upper back is being targeted! I typically do lighter weight so I can keep my form.
2️⃣ not sure what this is called? 😂 maybe an underhand row, but either way ya can def feeel the burn! I like to bring my upper body forward with it while still getting the full stretch in my back. Make sure to squeeze your shoulder blades when you bring the bar back to your chest!
3️⃣ wide grip lat pull down- this is a typical back exercise but definitely a staple of mine! I like to throw in some single arm movements as well ☺️

Thank you, God, for blessing me with another year of life. Through the successes, failures, sadness, and joy, I’m thankful for ALL the experiences of this past year. It has been, and still is, an honor to experience life each and every day. I pray that through this new year, I can share love, joy, and peace to those around me. •

22 Things I’ve learned this past year. -Forgive yourself and don’t beat yourself up for mistakes made.
-Be an example. Work hard and be yourself. -If you wait for life to finally get better to enjoy it, you will keep waiting.
-A small act of kindness through a smile, hug, or hello can go a long ways.
-It’s okay to take some time off after graduating college. -You don’t grow when you’re comfortable. -Real is beautiful, messy, silly, crazy, and honest. Be authentic. -Appreciate the small moments...you never know how they can be the greatest memories of your life. -The importance of finding a healthy balance between exercise and food. Balance and moderation is key.
-You can’t always please everyone and that’s okay. -Spending time outdoors and observing the beauty of nature is one of life’s simple pleasures.
-Having a heart of gratitude brings so much peace.
-Your attitude is everything.
-Pray more. Worry less.
-Everyone struggles with something. Every person is fighting a battle we may or may not know/understand. Encourage others and cheer for them. -Make time for self-care. You can’t pour from an empty cup. -Love God and love people.
-Seasons will always change. No season lasts forever. Each season holds special blessings or lessons. -Constantly try new things and break out of your comfort zone. -You are worthy. You are loved. You are important. -Live in the moment.
-God strengthened me + taught me who I am in Him.
