It takes roughly 3 days of deficit eating in order to get our body to start burning stored fat for energy. So basically come Thursday you're finally tapping into fat stores. Then Friday morning Mike brings in donuts, Saturday night take out and drinks and then throw in a Sunday Brunch. Get off the hamster wheel of yoyo dieting. If you're not willing to stick to your plan over the weekends then you just don't want it bad enough.

- You start to learn how to practice portion control. You learn how your body responds to food.
- - Eliminates the need for cheat meals or cheat days. You can eat anything as long as it fits your macros. Yes, you can eat pizza all day and make it fit your macros. But that doesn't mean you should. Micronutrients are important too! Make sure that you are eating nutrient dense, whole foods 80% of the time. -
- Eliminates demonisation of certain food groups. There is a wrong notion of 'good and bad foods'. There are no good or bad food. Food is food. It's fuel for your body. Every food group is beneficial as long as you don't binge on them. -
- You get to eat out and eat at social events without sabotaging your progress! -
❤️I personally feel that tracking macros is beneficial for someone starting out on their fitness journey. Most of the times, you are eating more than you think you do. Tracking helps you understand how much you should be eating. -

Squat day today threw 60kg on my back and did you think I warmed up with ease? Ahhhh it felt like 100kg and my quads did not want to play. I was freaking out a little lol as the session went on though I hit max squat 🎉🎉 and created an new PB🎊🎊🎊🎊on my overhead squat of 30kg using the Olympic bar yay🎊🎉🎊🎉.
