1/4 tsp baking powder
Una pizca de sal de himalaya
2 sobresitos de Stevia
3 tbs de leche de coco
Vainilla
Canela en polvo
1/2 banana picadita
Nueces picaditas

Easy Breakfast Recipe!

This avocado toast has been a favorite of mine for years, so I thought I would share my recipe! It may sound weird, but give it a try. 🥑1 slice toast (I use Trader Joe’s flourless spouted wheat berry)
🥑1tsp natural peanut or almond butter 🥑half an avocado
🥑everything but the bagel seasoning
🥑red pepper flakes

Toast your bread, spread on nut butter, mash avocado, and top with the seasonings!

BEST PART OF THE MORNING! Most mornings, I drink my Shakeo for breakfast. My current obsession is Cafe Latte + PB2. It feels like I’m cheating, but really I’m filling my body up with so much goodness. •

So...what’s on the agenda today in LIIFT4? NOTHING. It’s a rest day! 🙌🏼 Seriously, y’all. 4 days a week. 30-40 minutes per day. And that’s it!! YOU. CAN. DO. THIS. PROGRAM. •

Since today is a rest day, though, I’ve really got to hone in on my nutrition. What better way to do that than start the day with my Shakeo?

Who doesn’t love peanut butter cookies? Except maybe those who are allergic... I’m here to tell ya, this Shakeo recipe hits it outta the park!! It’s just a scoop of Vanilla Shakeology, a tbsp of all natural peanut butter, a tbsp of graham cracker crumbs, a pinch of sea salt, a cup of unsweetened almond milk, and ice. Combine and top with a small reserved amount of the graham crackers! You know you want some...😋

Chipotle for the win!

Between doctors appointments and running errands today, I started to get pretty hangry!! I swung by and got a chipotle salad. Loaded it with chicken, veggies, and of course guac!

Something important to remember though is portion control! Sure, if I sat on the couch with this on my lap I could eat the entire thing. But instead, I scooped out half and I will have half today, and half tomorrow!

It’s all about choices.

GAME CHANGER! Healthy no bakes 🍫 ..
These bites/cookies/bars are BOMB. And stupid healthy for you. They taste like no bake cookies but are so nutrient dense. They are a bit high on the calories but if you divided out into 32 equal portions and avoid eating the whole pan then you should be fine. Thanks @rainavsfood for sharing this recipe! I tweaked it ever so slightly because I ran out of oats and it worked awesome 😎 ..
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup coconut oil
3/4 cup honey
1.5 cup oats
3/4 cup ground flax seed
1/4 cup chia seed
2 packets chocolate shakeology
Vanilla to taste
..
Melt peanut butter, honey and oil change together in the microwave.
Add oats, seeds, vanilla.
Scoop out into parchment paper or I just placed mine in a brownie pan and set in the fridge to harden. ..
32 servings. 140 cals. 4p/9f/13c. 3g fiber!!

Although I'm glad I got to go to the store this morning and get PB2 for my shake, I'm regretting not working out. I'm already dreading doing it in the next hour. I do so much better when I workout first thing in the morning before my body has a chance to realize what's going on 😂

I’m still waiting for my shakeology to come in but had an extra sample pack on hand that I’d bought to try before I signed up for Beachbody on Demand and decided to try and bake a mug cake with it. It wasn’t as great as a bakery cupcake or anything (cause honestly what mug cake really is 🤷🏼‍♀️) but it did satisfy my late night craving for sweets. Thought I’d share in case any of y’all are sweets people too.

In a bowl, whisk one egg.
Add a drop or two of vanilla extract.
Add a scoop of chocolate shakeology and a spoonful or two of water to moisten and mix well.
Put half the chocolate mixture in a mug.
Put a spoonful of peanut butter on top of that and then put the rest of the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter.
Put 5 semi-sweet chocolate chips on top.
Microwave for 45-60 seconds.
