Had a nice stroll with him today, taking advantage of the nice early afternoon weather albeit impending gloom in the far distance. We found a sun-basking tortoise, grass lizards, green-crested lizard, baby monitor lizards, an inquisitive and perhaps hungry squirrel being attacked by a couple of sparrows protecting its nests, grey herons and their nesting place up high in the years-old trees, black-naped oriole, javan mynahs, a white plumage cockerel with its red crown which got the time confused, little egrets, shoals of female guppies + couple of familiar but unidentifiable ones......wow....didn't realise there's so many....without counting the sea apple trees, trumpet trees and more. It has been fun! And thanks to Google....learnt a lot too. 🙌🙌🙌 BTW, this is part of Tampines River (at low tide here) that flows through the park right through to the sea.
