Day 3 of bringing freedom to the 20-45 million modern slaves through the LBD.Project 2018 (the year of the firestarter 🔥).
Today I had some good conversations with some friends about the needs I am hearing of, and burden I feel. Especially from sexually abused and sex trafficking victims, and how much they need everyday normal, but more whole people to walk alongside them, adopting them into their families, showing them love, saftey and relationship. We who are already doing this can't do it for all. We need more people to be consistent and family to those with PTSD and abuse in their past. Today I am praying God sends workers into this realm, like Jesus said for us to do in response to the need.
I can't fix this problem, it is too big. But I have seen amazing things happen to bring freedom to those who are trafficked nearby in San Diego, to those in NOVA, to those in other countries. I know hope and don't give up.
Even if we raise not a cent and no more people become free through #lbdproject2018 (God forbid), at least my heart 💓 is daily stirred, as I intentionally rememeber modern slaves, or victims of human trafficking when I put on my black clothing in the morning. They should not be forgotten, nor as long as I am alive, they won't be.
It isn't too late. Join with me & Avi in wearing black with the @LBD.Project
