Tag your friends via@lladybird Today would have been my dad’s 59th birthday. It’s so weird to think how quickly time moves yet also drags on. It’s been nearly 18 months since he passed and I miss him every day. It bums me out to think of all the things he’s missed since then, and also what he’ll miss in the future. I’m sad that i can’t call him for advice, whether it’s about a broken washing machine or a shitty dude. The sucky part about having someone so amazing in your life is when they are unfairly taken away from you 😢

The 1930s gown has overlapping bands at the hips and waist, front and back, that are cut on different grains giving the appearance of flames dancing up from the ground. Framed with a perfectly draped cowl neckline, the wearer would look like an elegantly shimmering bonfire. - Dress featured in Threads no. 165 - http://bit.ly/cowlneckline -
It's Wednesday and that means new blog post day! This week it's also finally a sewing post, after 6 weeks of personal content. In this post, I talk you through how I draft a corset in record time using computer algorithms and then how I work in half scale. It's a two (maybe three!) part series over the next month!
