Ive been seeing and hearing a lot about the 7 skin method lately, and I've got to say I'm all for it. My skin is dry, but the worst offender to me is my dehydration. I have long been a user of multiple hydrating layers, my routines always include at least 4, and up to 7. I have yet to specifically try seven layers of one product though, mostly because I keep getting distracted and moving on.
These are today's hydrating products, these range from a very watery texture to a thicker not-quite gel texture. In order of application:
🌱 @narukous face renewal miracle essence.
🌱 @soroci_korea two pumps soothing skin toner mixed with two pumps repair skin softener.
🌱 @makeprem Hydrate Me micro essence toner.
🌱 @manyo_factory rosehip oil mist.
🌱 @whamisaskincare organic flowers toner deep rich.
I followed all of these up with a @cremorlab_kr white bloom triple bright floral mask.
I can always see the difference in my skin when I don't use multiple hydrating layers. My skin doesn't look as plump and glowing, it can almost take on a sunken look. My pores and fine lines become more noticeable and my skin looks dull. It's worth it to me to take the extra time to pat in a few more layers. The nice thing about using such light products is it takes less then 10 minutes to get all of this on my skin, I hardly have to wait between each one.
I may experiment and try a different product each day with the seven skin method to see if it's any different and which product works best for it. Would it be the lightest? Or the heaviest?
