Overwhelmed? Burnt out? Don't know what to do first? I've got you! Below are three *simple* tips to help you out:
1) Schedule your massage to give your brain a break and your body a 'tune-up'. Sometimes we need to just s.t.o.p. and do/think nothing. Give your brain a 'sabbatical' from *everything*. A day to do nothing is also helpful. Where, when you can, have an entire 'Sabbath Day'. It goes a long way!
2) Breathe. Delegate. Operate. Then break. Take a moment to breathe. Write down a realistic to-do list. Start with what *has* to be done now that'll aid in you feeling the weight coming off of your shoulders. Work your way to what can be put off to take care of a little later without hurting you, your progress in any way. See if you can schedule what to do throughout the day. Is there any way to get help with delegation? If there is someone or are there people that you can trust to help you? If so, graciously take their assistance and show them your gratitude. *Side note* Say no to people or extra obligations where possible so that you don't take on too much in the first place. You're one person. You're human. Take it from me, people pleasing can be very harmful.
3) Don't forget to eat. Just as exercise can help stress and energy, so can proper nourishment. Forgoing meals can drop blood sugar, deplete energy levels, and more. Keeping yourself well fed with healthful meals, snacks, and plenty of water is key to making sure that the brain and body have all the need. Message me for how I can be a part of your overall health and wellness routine.
Happy Monday everyone!
