Vía @shawellness 🔝El Seed Cycling consiste en equilibrar el estrógeno y la progesterona– dos de las hormonas que regulan el ciclo menstrual- ingiriendo distintas semillas según el momento del ciclo que estés.
Un ciclo regular dura 28 días y requiere el intercambio de hormonas que influyen al útero y a los ovarios. Hay dos fases en el ciclo menstrual. El primero se llama la Fase Folicular (día 1-14) es cuando el óvulo no se ha fertilizado y el lino endometrial se expulsa mediante la menstruación. Durante esta fase, el nivel de estrógeno incrementa. En cuanto los niveles de estrógeno empiezan a bajar, los niveles de progesterona empiezan a incrementar, y es aquí cuando se entra en la segunda fase del ciclo: la Fase Lútea (día 15-28). Es el desequilibrio de estas hormonas que causan todos los síntomas más comunes del ciclo menstrual.
Por ello, el Seed Cycling puede ayudar con estos síntomas. Los distintos nutrientes que contienen las semillas ayudan a equilibrar las hormonas. 💓Como hacer Seed Cycling💓

En la Fase Folicular (día 1-14) del ciclo se deben de ingerir las siguientes semillas:

1 cucharada de semillas de lino molidas: están llenas de lignanos que bloquean el exceso de estrógeno.
1 cucharada de semillas de calabaza: ricas en zinc- asisten en la producción de progesterona.
En la Fase Lútea (día 15-28) del ciclo se deben de ingerir las siguientes semillas:

1 cucharada de semillas de girasol: ricas en selenio- metaboliza las hormonas.
1 cucharada de semillas de sésamo: están llenas de lignanos que bloquean el exceso de estrógeno.

I could seriously eat #sushi every meal. If our #seafood supply wasn’t so contaminated I would definitely be full on #pescatarian.
Most people that don’t like sushi think ew I hate #raw fish. Well, I don’t like raw fish either. Not all sushi is raw. I’ve even had chicken in sushi (cooked duh lol.) It’s the combo of #rice, #seaweed, #sesameseeds, veggies, and a delicious sauce to dip it all in that gets me; and it always tastes so fresh! Freakin #yum. .
When we make ours at home we usually make rolls with imitation #crab or #teriyaki #organic #sprouted #tofu as the “meat,” #avocado, #cucumber, #carrots, and #greenonion. Then we make our own #spicymayo (plant based) and use #braggs #liquidaminos instead of soy sauce. NEVER gets old!

Rolling them the old fashion way is awesome and easy (after you practice a lot!!!) but we use a #sushibazooka! It’s freaking sweet. One day I’ll post about it. .
