Sgt. Maj. of the Army Daniel Dailey and the Adjutant General of Iowa, Maj. Gen. Tim Orr, visited Soldiers with the Iowa National Guard’s 134th Medical Company (Ground Ambulance) and 294th Area Support Medical Company at Camp Grayling, Mich. today. Iowa Soldiers are providing medical support to Northern Strike, a joint multinational combined arms live fire exercise involving approximately 5,000 service members from 11 states and six coalition countries.
Extremely honored (and lucky)to have met THE Sergeant Major of the Army today. Myself and the Soldiers around me have been a fan of his since he swore in as SMA in 2015. He is truly a man that is concerned about the Soldiers and the future of the enlisted force. #sergeantmajorofthearmy#goarmy#army
They said why you.... I said, why not me...? Today is a day that I will forever remember. I not only met the #sergeantmajorofthearmy but I was given a seat the very table he sat at. Still a surreal moment... Additionally, I got to share the day with my boi and Aide to the #SMA@superset_cp. #😎#blessed
