Here's all the books I got through for September. Definitely not as many as last month, but hey, that's life. As usual, my mini-reviews, kept short and sweet. Tell me what you thought of any of these too, I'd love to hear it!
📖 Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones: 4🌟 This book appealed to the music major in me in a big big way. Not the greatest story writing, but still enjoyable. I found the characters to be interesting and the storyline had potential, so I'll definitely be reading the sequel when it comes out next year.
📖 Truly Madly Guilty by Liane Moriarty. 3🌟 Not one of this author's stronger, more riveting books. The switching between different characters and time frames seemed like a cheap ploy to keep the story interesting, but by the time we get to the big reveal, it's lost its charm. Also, the big reveal? Not a big deal at all. 😝
📖 Nevernight by Jay Kristoff. 5🌟 Holy cow, this book blew my socks off!! GREAT protagonist, storyline, and character development. The only distraction were the footnotes, which I just started skipping. That ending will kill you!!
📖 Red Rising and Golden Son by Pierce Brown: 4.5🌟 Another series that was recommended to me, and that I thoroughly enjoyed. A little TOO violent at times, the author does not pull any punches with that! Will read the next book in the series next month! 😊
