Anxiety doesn't discriminate.
It doesn't care who you are.
It doesn't care what gender you are.
It doesn't care how old you are.
It doesn't care what kind of job you have.
It doesn't care how successful you are.
It doesn't care where you live.
It doesn't care if you have kids.
It doesn't care if you are a kid.
Anxiety can be experienced by ANYONE. And it sucks, BIG time.
But that's the good thing about it.
Hear me out.
Because it doesn't discriminate, and because it can happen to anyone, it means you're never alone! There are so many people suffering anxiety, and it's not until you talk openly about it that you realise just how surrounded by support you are.
I choose to talk openly about it because it helps me. Hiding behind it, pretending it's not happening, keeping it a secret, only fuels it for me.
But I understand that not everyone feels comfortable talking about it.
Please know, I am ALWAYS here if you'd like to try talking about it. My inbox is always open. Talking about it was the best thing I did. It helped me understand I was not alone.
I promise, you are not alone.
