It's interesting how at a certain age we all understand how fragile life really is. But, every now and again, we a reminded of just how quickly everything can change. It is this realization that so commonly goes forgotten, and what I believe to be the root cause of most worldly angst and trivial stress. When reminded, all of the meaningless things melt away and you're shown the truly valuable things in life. While this can be very hard to digest, I feel that it is important to remember on a daily basis. I feel that this is a priceless understanding that should guide your decisions and the way you move through this oh-so temporary world. It may be cliché, But live everyday as if it were your last. Say how you feel, even though you may be scared. Struggle in exchange for precious time with those you love, because at the end of the day you only have so much time here. Only so much time before we return from where we once came. I feel that this life is nothing more than an experiment. An experiment in connection. An experiment in attachment. And while time may show over and over that attachment is the route of all suffering, by no means does that suggest we should shy away it. If anything, it suggests that this is our one chance. And how beautiful it is that we are afforded this opportunity. My advice, Love with all of your heart. Say how you feel. And equally as important, mean what you say. Time is fleeting, so make the most of the limited time you have. The oneness may be beautiful, but it can be a lonely place. As so famously said, "beauty is pain..." And we are all oh-so beautiful.
