This could possibly be the busiest beach in @queensland or even the whole of @australia and it's no wonder why with perfect surf breaks like this! Known for its pumping waves, Snapper Rocks was putting on a show with massive swell 🌊 over the weekend. A favourite among locals and visitors, Snapper rarely disappoints in providing the goods! Who's game to compete for a wave with these die hard surfers? 🏄 #WeAreGoldCoast#thisisqueensland#SeeAustralia 📸 @olsonphotoart
You may have heard the lifeguards in Australia are quite the lookers, but not as cute as those here in South Australia. Bunji, as her friends call her, is the most natural beauty in the @eyre_peninsula. Although her eyelashes are enough to make you envious, here swimming skills aren’t so don’t say we didn’t warn you! @brinkleydavies rescued Bunji when she was small enough to fit in her palm. Fast forward a year and she’s got all the locals wrapped around her little paws! We don’t blame them, she’s pretty darn gorgeous! #SeeSouthAustralia 🎀 [📍Location: 50 minute flight (or 7hr drive) to @Port_Lincoln from #Adelaide in #SouthAustralia]
• 🏄🏼 // Life is constantly throwing us curveballs. • I honestly believe that the universe provides you with these obstacles and challenges just as you need them. • It’s all happening just as its supposed to happen. • Is this even true or is it just one big rationalisation that makes it all less depressing day to day? 🤔 • We’ll never know. Could even be a bit of both…no idea to be honest. • What I do know is that it feels like everything happens in perfection in retrospect when I adopt this mindset ✊🏼 • When I resist pain I feel even more pain and become the victim. When I embrace it…I feel growth, opportunity and happiness 🥊 • You need the bullshit. You need the suffering. It’s the human experience 👁 • Pain = growth. Re-frame that shit in your mind. Make more mistakes. Keep moving forward 🔥 • One day you will be thankful for all the shitty things life throws your way ❤️
The city as seen from Sandridge Bridge, captured by @feraldo_r. The Sandridge Bridge is a historic former railway bridge over the Yarra, which runs diagonally to the river's banks and was redeveloped in 2006 as a pedestrian and cycle path featuring public art - and the odd seagull. #visitvictoria#visitmelbourne
"As I waited for sunset at Hanson’s Peak in the Cradle Mountain/Lake St Clair National Park in Tasmania, an echidna appeared. He was happy wandering the mountains in search for dinner. I was happy to photograph him doing it. I’ve never seen an echidna this high in the mountains before or since..." This incredible image from @jasonlstephens - entitled 'Happy Wanderer' - recently won the Animal Habitat category at the 2017 @australiangeographic Nature Photographer of the Year awards. A well-deserved accolade for an image that captures the essence of @tasmaniasnorthwest's World Heritage-listed wilderness and one of its remarkable inhabitants. Congratulations Jason - and thanks for letting us repost your image.
One day I hope I can produce some of those gorgeous silky smooth waterfall shots I drool over on Instagram..until then, here is my take on Katoomba Falls, or a part of it anyway 😉. How lucky are we Sydneysiders to have the stunning natural beauty of the Blue Mountains National Park just 1 hr away 😍
