I remember a long legged bird running down the road and could not beleive my eyes. I shot this portrait of a #SecretaryBird while on assignment in #Tanzania.
My ability to work with location lighting (like the techique used on this picture) has been part of the tools that have been used to my success whether it is in landscape, still life or portraiture.
Please join me for a four day workshop at my studio in the Brooklyn Navy Yards. The workshop will focus on the types of pictures that I have shot while working on nearly 40 articles for @NatGeo and my approach to those assingments.
Finding your own voice and understanding what makes your ideas special will be a subtext to this workshop while learning the skills needed to advance your photography career.
Participants should come prepared with a project idea to photograph and develop along with work to review and discuss. Workshop will include guest speakers (to be announced) and feedback from magazine editors and photographers. More details at www.tentonstudio.com/workshop
