Working for @sebastopoldocs has been one of my fav things I've done since I've moved here! Excluding designing this 30' banner which kept crashing my computer, it has been amazingly fun 🎥💜 The best Fest in Sebastopol is around the corner!! Sebdocs.org

For those making films, one of the most critical (and sometimes most overlooked) positions on their team is the Sound Department. Production Sound Mixer. Post Sound. Sound Design. But what do these terms mean? How do they work? And how does a filmmaker working on a shoestring budget utilize these resources to enhance their film? For an informative 90 minutes, we will bring together three working sound professionals to talk about the joys and challenges of bringing the best sound possible to every project. Jim LeBrecht, Patrushkha Mierzwa and Mark Ulano have long and impressive resumes for their work on both narrative and documentary films and great stories to share.

Only $10 for Members, $12 for Non Members! Tickets at SebDocs.org

Thank you to everyone who came out for First Thursday Best of the Fest for the screening of Drokpa! It was a wonderful night to have all of you here...

An absolutely wonderful film, "Robert Bly: A Thousand Years of Joy" is one you don't want to miss... Filmmaker Haydn Reiss in attendance!

Poet Robert Bly stands out even among the celebrated, revolutionary generation of American artists who burst forth in the 1950’s. A Thousand Years of Joy charts Bly’s path from farmer’s son to anti-Vietnam War activist to wild man of the 1990’s men’s movement, through his international bestseller Iron John. Above all, Bly has been a champion for poetry’s place in American culture.
