Today we are helping two schools in Miami get set up as part of the new biomedical technology pilot program for Miami Dade County Public Schools. The Reb3l Mini, a portable but powerful bioprinter, can teach students how to use similar lab-grade equipment without having to leave the classroom. These machines are capable of printing bacteria, enzymes, algae and other organic materials (including chocolate 🍫).
In addition to design services we also offer value to our local community by providing educational resources and technology. One example is providing bioprinters to MDCPS through our partnership with SE3D Education @se3dedu an amazing team who's goal is to get biomedical tech into the classroom.
As vendors for MDCPS we want to serve our community by equipping schools and educators with the equipment and training they need to get students better equipped for the 21st Century. If you're an educator or parent and are interested in learning more about 3D printing or bioprinting, or are interested in professional development workshops let us know! We love our teachers! 👨🏫👩🏫🍎
